En aquesta situació de crisi és molt important captar nous clients, encara que no ha de portar-se endavant a tot preu i no és convenient acceptar les noves comandes analitzant només el benefici immediat. Vegem casos que se li poden plantejar:
- Li fan una comanda significativa però li demanen rebaixar molt el preu. Encara que li pot reportar uns certs beneficis, la rendibilitat que obtindrà és molt inferior a la que aconsegueix en la fabricació i venda dels seus productes habituals. Ha de plantejar-se si l’empresa pot assumir el treball amb l’estructura actual de màquines i personal fix, ja que els costos poden augmentar.
- Altres factors a considerar abans d’acceptar la comanda:

- Capacitat de producció. Aquesta nova comanda li farà acostar-se més al límit de la seva capacitat de producció i haurà de considerar si en el futur es veurà obligat a rebutjar comandes més rendibles i que estigui segur que no sofrirà un augment de costos fixos, ja que un petit augment d’aquests costos, li pot deixar en res el benefici derivat de la nova comanda.

- Risc. Ha de verificar que l’operació no presenta riscos, per la qual cosa la solvència del nou client serà un factor fonamental a tenir en compte.

- Marge. La disminució del marge que es produeix pot generar dubtes en una entitat bancària que analitzi el seu balanç per a atorgar-li pòlisses o préstecs.
Com a conclusió, li recordem que abans d’acceptar noves comandes i sobretot les que són importants, consideri altres aspectes i no simplement el benefici immediat. Tingui en consideració els factors que li indiquem.
